Xavian was founded by Roberto Barletta in 1996, in the historical and iconic city of Prague in the Czech Republic.

Roberto was born in Turin in the northern part of Italy. He spent most of his childhood with his Grandmother's family. Surrounded by musicians, trumpeter, singer, drummer and guitarists.

The family played Jazz, classical and opera on their turntable while his uncle played guitar in the next room. This exciting musical environment made a deep and lasting impression on Roberto.

After attending an industrial electronics school he developed a deep understanding, knowledge and passion for high fidelity sound reproduction. Working in Turin for four years Roberto gained vast experience in acoustics, loudspeaker design and production.

Roberto moved to Prague  in 1996 where he founded Xavian. At the very beginning he started designing and hand building his loudspeakers in his own small workshop. He remained steadfast in his desire to create prestigous loudspeakers based on true Italian design and world class workmanship.
